    M&p 340

Isn't that the truth! I often get jealous of my retired Dad who has plenty of time at the range with his 360 PD, as well as other weapons. Every once in a while, we get to shoot together, and he will give me the business about not shooting enough. I'd love to shoot every day, or every week...

    M&p 340

911boss - Congratulations on the new weapon! wingslevel - I have had both the 360 PD and the 360 M&P. Pocket carrying them both around, I really could not tell any difference between the 2. They are each just as comfortable. If you have them side by side comparing the weights, you can...

    Bell as bear defense?

Sorry they had that incident, but glad they were not killed. Definitely another clear example of why carrying a gun in a National Park needs to become legal. When we are hiking in Bear country, we always make sure we are known by yelling "hey Bear" every few minutes. However, hunting is a...

    Bolt fast or slow?

I also throw the bolt back automatically. I've had to use the second bullet twice.

    Bell as bear defense?

I believe any noise would work. A bell ringing constantly would be exceptionally annoying to me. I just yell, "hey bear" every couple of minutes, when in bear country.

    Best Action for HD?

I am a fan of the Glock kept next to bed, with a round in the chamber, in one of those safes that you can open with your fingers in the dark. I used to just keep a 12 Gauge next to the bed, and my carry Glock on the bedside table. But, I now have a little one, so the shotgun is unloaded, and...

    M&p 340

I had the PD version, and sold it a while ago. I never had any problems with it, I just liked the M&P better. I loved the large site and the finish. I really cid not notice the difference in weight.

What yardage should I zero laser on Glock?

I agree with the above. I have kept mine zeroed at around 7 - 10 yards.

Look what stumbled into my back yard!

Thanks for all the comments everybody. I am pretty sure this is a good Florida swamp whitetail fawn that has lost his spots. I am just south of Jacksonville, and as far as I know, we don't have key deer or any type of exotics anywhere near here.

    Favorite bullet for deer

I also like the Nosler Ballistic tips. But, in reality, any of the above will do.

Look what stumbled into my back yard!

So I am upstairs when my wife starts screaming, "there is a deer in our yard". I yell downstairs, "yeah right, I am sure it's a dog". She continues yelling about the "deer", so I go down to investigate. I look out the window and yell, "Holy crap! There is a deer in our yard". I grab the camera...

    Buckshot in an indoor setting?

When I was in an apartment, I loaded my shotgun with bird shot instead of buck shot. I believe that the bird shot will be a lot less likely to be going through a couple layers of walls and injuring or killing your neighbors. However, I am confident that shooting an intruder with bird shot at...
