    Favorite K & N frame Subnose Grips?

I generally prefer the Pachmayr brand of grips, but have used Hogue, particularly if the Hogue-brand already came with my S&W revolver(s). (the Lyman/Pachmayr website seems to be down right now as I type. www.lymanproducts.com)...

    how much is too much?

Not that I'd spend whichever price is being asked, but is it $25K or 1/4 million dollars according to Post 1?

Colt series 80 Combat Commander 9 mm

Here's Colt's webpage with its current MSRPs listed for Commander models: https://www.colt.com/product-category/pistols/commander-series/ The three prices, depending on model are: $1000, $1400, and $2600. $1500 may or may not be in the "ballpark" regarding whichever model Post 1 has available...

    Ankle Holster

Here's an Uncle Mike's brand which I really like: https://www.unclemikes.com/holsters/alternative-carry/ankle-holster/P00837.html Although the price is low, this is my "GO-TO" holster due to fit and comfort. I'm not specifically recommending ankle-carry for any particular person or the original...

Glock 19 with red dot sight questions

I bought the G19gen5MOS (~$490 Blue Label pricing) and a Holosun SCS (~$350). I figured I saved by not buying an adapter plate (~$77) and taller suppressor-height sights ($35-$115). I did buy a torque driver, however, (~$100, but there less expensive drivers) which I also used on some other...

    637 vs LCR

When carrying a revolver, among a few other revolvers, I'll grab either my LCRX (in .327) or or two of a few J-frames. I don't actually have a Mod. 637, but do have the similar 640, 60, 642, and 638; i.e., they're both good. It is a decision as to what to carry, but somehow I make that decision...

Colt MK VI 70 Series Dented Cases

Not relevant to the OP's problem, but what is a Mark VI (6)? I remember there being a Mark IV (4), but never quite understood the numbering as I don't remember being any Marks I, II, or III before the Mark IV (4). I've had several 1911s, but never had the older-school small ejection port. But...

Just venting a little bit and man I am not a fan of Lena Miculeck right now lol…ugh

Post 3, The gun and accessories look great to me, but I've no interest in it otherwise. I understand saving the $250 on a regular/plain P365 and I'd probably feel better with the savings if it was for me. My wife has no interest in guns but does find other things & places to spend her money. I...

What type of Ammo for a EDC SW EZ 380

Note, I've no personal experience with the .380 round. I can't even remember ever firing the round through anyone else's handgun over the years as I don't own and never owned a handgun in the .380 caliber. Here's a ~12 year old thread from another forum which discusses the .380 (and .38Special)...

    Do you WC-?

There are pros and cons to using wadcutter ammo in a revolver. Here's some ballistic testing on .38Special ammo: https://www.luckygunner.com/labs/revolver-ballistics-test/ The testing is from LuckyGunner.com and there are other calibers tested if more research is desired. There are limitations...

Is Taurus a Good Brand for Revolvers

I've read good and bad things with folks' Taurus revolvers. I ended up buying a Ruger LCRX in .327 instead of the Taurus .327. I'm also on a waiting list for an S&W 432UC, but don't know if or when one will ever be received between Lipsey's and my selected FFL, so I ordered and received the LCRX...

    A300 vs 1301

https://www.brownells.com/gear/slings-sling-swivels/sling-swivels-mounts/qd-sling-cup/ I'd just get a QD socket or two; some flathead self-tapping-wood-screws, and screw those sockets onto the stock anywhere you'd want them (bottom, left-side, right-side). The socket kit seem to come with...

    These cartridges would not fire.

Post 1, There are various options to do or try. -Try, yet, even more brands/models of .38 Special ammo; -Send the 442-2 back to S&W; -try some of your own gunsmithing/armorer work, which would, if you're handy, consist of merely replacing the firing pin with one slightly extended; here's one...

    I realized today… I just can’t shoot GP’s very well.

For whatever reason, I couldn't shoot my GP100 to my liking either. It was a 4" version in 2008. Whether it was me, the gun, or the ammo, I don't know, but I could barely keep hits on the target at 15 yards. My only Ruger right now is a 2" .327 LCR and shoots fine for me. All my .38/.357...

D&L Sports vs Cylinder & Slide

Post 1, I've zero experience with using either of these two companies for anything, although I've heard of both of them over the decades I've probably been on these gun forums. I noticed Cylinder-Slide states they're backed up ~18 months, if that's of concern; whereas I couldn't find anything...
