I just had a scary thought...

In Canada, .25 and .32 caliber pistols are prohibited. I believe the reason is to prevent the Jennings, Raven type firearms from being imported into the country, although these same pistols are legal in .22 and .380. Remember to keep your firearm ownership a right and not a priviledge as it...

    Magazine Capacity

You are grandfathered in on prohibited weapons, not devices which mags fall under. Magazines would be either kept illegally, turned in for destruction if undesired or altered permenantly by "pinning" them during an amnesty after the CFA 97 was passed. The term pinning is used because in some...

    Magazine Capacity

If charged and prosecuted fully, it is a 5 year maximum term for first offence. There is no doubt they are out there but no one brings them to the ranges, and usually leave them disassembled at home which seems to be another loop hole.

cleaning the bolt on my savage .22LR???????

Cleaning the bore should be done atleast when accuracy drops and before storage. Many bolts disassemble into principle parts which you can scrub down and clean and you can break most down all the way although a manufacture may not recomend it. An aerosol type lube like remoil may do the trick if...
