I'm evaluating two pistols I really like nearly identical in every way except caliber and capacity. Both feel really good to me and my wife (the more important critic).
I personally would tend to lean towards the capacity, but in my area, almost every training instructor injects their bias...
Own both.
Don't buy into the PX4 naysayers. It is a fine, reliable weapon.
If you can afford to put a zillion rounds of ammo thru a firearm, then you can afford to buy a spare spring or an ounce of grease.
The key to the PX4 running smooth is greasing the rotary lug. Yes it may take more...
Take the magicians approach. Distract them by providing them something else to look at:
Fake ketchup stain.
Shirt with difficult to read wording, yet eye catching.
Wave "Hi" and smile to everyone as you pass. Works great in big cities. They'll cross the street and think you have the...
Good idea for trying this.
One thing this test doesn't do though, is while it measures the total setback and that can determine whether it is within the allowable cartridge specs, it doesn't measure the excessive pressure the setback can cause, and whether that will result in a kaboom.
Of...
That wasn't accidently 9mm Short, aka .380ACP was it?
I happen to have that same Remington grain ammo for one of my .380's, so maybe if yours was an older box, it might have had the word short written in a less obvious way.
It has to be on this list if it doesn't fall as an exception like a C&R:

I have not heard anything about the pistol itself being modified in a way to not accept a standard capacity mag. And I make it a point to keep myself informed about what is going on...
Since caliber was mentioned as not an issue, I'll throw in ones I haven't seen mentioned yet.
Beretta Cheetahs chambored in .380. They have a couple models. The 84 is a double stack holding 13 rounds, and the 85 is a micro hair thinner single stack holding 8 I think.
While the Cheetah's...
THIS is the biggest screwup I can think of.
Why the heck would so many manufacturer's trade reliability for some accuracy at a distance that only a select few would even attempt is beyond me.
I can understand maybe offering a specific model for those people that are such good shots that...
I know Sig 229 grips won't fit on a 225.
Some comparison pics between the two models makes it appear that they are nearly identical in size/shape, and I was curious especially from those that own both and can compare, if you think it would be easily possible to fabricate some kind of...
As mentioned above, the Type C "Constant Action" is not what would normally be classified as single action.
The trigger does move the hammer and then releases it.
In some ways it is a hammered version of a striker pistol where the slide does some of the required work, so you don't have...
The lower desc is a typo in my opinion.
The .40 has a 14 rnd capacity, which is what I think they did.
The 9 by default is 17, but they offer 10 rounders and 15 for various states.
Out of stock, but you can save some money if you get the MDS mags which are actually still made by Beretta...
