I love mine. 1944 Izhevsk (Russian). I run mine 99% factory condition minus stock refurbishing and some trigger work (super easy to do the way I did it). Being 5'11" and 235-240 pounds, I can shoot that rifle with steel butt-plate all day. The recoil doesn't bother me. ~On The Road Again...~

Get a lock-box and leave the pistol chambered. I've rechambered the round in my G22 numerous times without perceptible set-back. ~On The Road Again...~
