What I mean is not concealed. I would like a holster like a hunter, hunting rig. belt kind, outside the pants. A thumb break would be great too. Looking at different web sites and on-line stores I find all manner and type of concealed holsters, and holsters for Glocks, XD's, and such...

What do you folks have for you M&P's? I'm looking for a holster when I'm in the woods that will fit well on a belt. I do not want in the waist band, or hide -a -way type. Thanks all Longboard

A Ted Williams 30-30 will be all steel and that in a Winchester is a good thing. The one's made after a certain time have alloy parts in them. I would buy any Ted Williams long arm for the right price. Go for it. Longboard
