I hate how some states, like WA. take the "that other states' requirements are more strict, so they won't honor our CCW's. So we are not honoring theirs'." AGs should default to a same or more stringent allowed here.
Supply is starting to stick around in local stores and on a few on-line locations. Likewise, prices are beginning to come back down. Hopefully by summer things will be close to pre-panic conditions.
The bolt catch is part of the lower. I have never seen an upper effect the catches' performance. Feeding issues, yes. Try applying pressure up on the bottom of your magazine and see if that helps.
I've tried three or four side mounted solutions, and have yet to be happy with the results. The rear sight replacement looks like a decent solution, but I hate to give up the iron sights.

Yeah, well, try convincing them that something you did 22 years ago shouldn't stop you from purchasing your firearm.
I wish you the best of luck, but right now the gov seems set on denying as many purchases as it can. And in these cases, I'm sorry to say but we are guilty until proved innocent.
