66
I haven't heard anyone say it yet, so here's a plug for a 4" pre lock 66. I wish you would all quit with the pics! I'm getting the urge to go shopping.
Agreed
Thanks for your reply Throttlejockey,
I am interested for the same reasons as you. Additionally, I love shooting my 30-30 lever actions but they don't see much action due to ammo cost. I could start to reload for them but I am already set up for .38 and the production cost is reasonable.
Hello,
I am considering getting a lever gun in .357.
I have a couple of questions and I am hoping someone can offer me some insight.
1. Confirm that I can shoot .38 special brass. Or do I need to load .357 brass?
2. I load .38/.357 for pistol on a D 550B and want to confirm I can...
Say What?
Wait. Either you are allow to carry at that Wal Mart or you are not allowed to carry at that Wal Mart. They can't ban you from Wal Mart just because you got caught carrying, unless they have a publically posted policy against doing so.
I'm kinda on the fence about the police...
G17
Good choice. It's perfect as is unless you desire night sights.
If your groups are off to the left (common when first picking up a Glock) don't touch the sights. Just spend time with the gun. Might be helpful to find someone at the range who is proficient with Glocks as they do like to be...
Speer
I've found that Speer Gold Dot's in the twenty box are about $18 if memory serves me, but the box of 50 is only about $23.00. You might look for that.
Sloppy
The Cabelas policy is sloppy though. A few months ago I went into Cabelas with my unloaded J Frame in a zipper case because I wanted to purchase a new holster for it. I took it to the greeter where he checked it for unloaded condition and carried it to the gun counter. He then put it on...
Dry fire practice
This is common for folks new to shooting Glocks. I did it with my G19 when it was new also...I still revert back to it if I am not careful or out of practice. First is grip. Be sure to hold the gun properly...it's a bit different than most. Secondly, many people are left of...
Hello,
I'm an Idaho CCW'er traveling through Oregon for the week. The reading I've done suggests that I am legal to OPEN carry in my vehicle. I'm not planning to carry on my person in the metro areas so I'm not worried about that. Can anyone confirm my understanding about vehicle carry...
Hug attacks are not limited to non-immediate family members. It is prudent to avoid contact even with family members, even children. While one might think it is extremely unlikely a very young family member (under the age of 5) would participate in such an attack, I wouldn't rule out the...
