People who collect Colt SAAs have deep pockets and want as original as possible. Unlike normal collectors who put a premium on finish and originality. SAA collectors get excited over a well used handgun.
1. Back when I was a teen, I talked my dad into buying a Lama .380 1911 style handgun. It was cool as heck but was not comfortable to shoot at all and .380 ACP was expensive.
2. Ever since I saw Quigley Down Under, I wanted a Sharps rifle in 45-70. I found a Pedersoli model 1874 Sharps rifle...
I have a 75 and it has to be the worst trigger of any .22 rifle I own. I hear there is a way to adjust the trigger but I have so many other rifles to shoot that I haven’t bothered to figure it out. I shot my buddies Annie 1903 and it was a dream to shoot.

I used to compete with my M1 at CMP matches but haven’t been to one in a few years. I started with 167 SMK over a charge of Varget (I don’t have the data handy but I think it was 46gr). This was an accurate load but I found my recovery times in the rapids was slow and at 200 yards the 168s were...
I have never had good luck worth any aftermarket mags. I have the adjustment tool but have not tried to tune them yet so they may work after tuning. Don’t buy aftermarket mags for your High Standard. Buy from the source of High Standard...
No affiliation with either vendor. HK parts pro is a legit company but I am not sure about the other one.
