The FN FNAR is based mostly on the FN BAR which is a very proven platform that i believe has been out since the 60's. This BAR has nothing to do with the USGI BAR (Browning automatic rifle) but still a very format able design.

I can't believe that nobody has mentioned Small Arms Review. This and SGN are the only gun publications I can actually read without laughing at the ridiculous articles. Small Arms Review has a lot of interesting articles on little known firearms and whatnots.

Does anyone have any idea when this panic buying will let up? To my understanding it could take years for an AWB to be put into legislation, so what gives! If panic buying does not let up could supply increase letting prices come back down....

Sounds like you would like to be talked out of buying it. I've never heard a positive thing about Century, in general, but yet I have no first hand experience to offer you. I've heard they have major QC problems.
