rubber grips for older ruger security six

No one currently makes grips for the 150 pre-fix guns. Jay Scott used to make a pair of grips they fit both the 150 and 151 pre-fix guns although they are walnut and not rubber. You can still find them on on e-bay or Gun Broker occasionally. The easiest way to tell if the fit both pre-fix guns...

Beretta Tomcat - anyone have one that works?

Mine was really picky about what ammo it liked. It liked high velocity ammo. As long as it was kept clean and lightly lubed and fed high velocity ammo, it was very dependable. The only real trouble i ever had with it (besides it's demands for high velocity ammo) was with after market...

How Reliable is the ROSSI R462 .357 MAG.???

I had a 461 (the 462's blued cousin). It had about 500 rounds of mostly .357's run through it, and other than a long, heavy D/A trigger pull, i never had any problems with it. I wouldn't have hesitated to depend on it in a self defense situation.

Microstamping Bill causes STI to pull out of California

How many times is this bull **** story going to be recycled? STI hasn't had any guns on the approved list for awhile. It's just an empty publicity stunt.

    Charter Arms .357

My Charter 2000 Undercover=Three misfires (light firing pin hits) on the first cylinder full. My Charter 2000 Offduty=Three misfires (light firing pin hits) on the first cylinder full. The same ammo used in the above guns fired perfectly in my J frame S&W's and my Taurus 85. My buddys...

Wow! It's tax time and the wife is PO'ed!

Guns are my cheapest hobby. My jeep can suck up a 1,000 bucks like it was chocolate syrup and scream for more. Don't even get me started on how much it's going to cost to build up my '58 Chevy step side.

    Sigma

The trigger pull seems to be the biggest gripe with the Sigma, but after a couple magazines full i got used to the trigger pull. All in all, i'm happy with it.

    Sigma

My buddy was thinning out some of his collection, and not really being a plastic kind of guy, offered me a first generation Sigma 9mm cheap. He bought it used last year and had only run about 100 rounds through it. It looks brand new, there's not a blemish anywhere on it. Having heard all the...

    charter arms bulldog

I had three Charter 2000 handguns, a Bulldog Pug, Undercover and an Offduty. I also have an original Charter Arms 3" blued Bulldog i bought nib in 1980. Both the Undercover and Offduty (both bought nib from a dealer) failed right out of the box. Both had three misfires (light firing pin...

    Taurus .44 magnum

I was really curious as to how they handled, recoil wise. Especially the Tracker. I know a ported gun (at least my ported Taurus 606 .357) had very little muzzle flip. It came pretty much strait back. It will be a "carried a lot, shot a little" gun while hunting and general woods bumming...
