Mine was really picky about what ammo it liked. It liked high velocity ammo. As long as it was kept clean and lightly lubed and fed high velocity ammo, it was very dependable. The only real trouble i ever had with it (besides it's demands for high velocity ammo) was with after market...

I had a 461 (the 462's blued cousin). It had about 500 rounds of mostly .357's run through it, and other than a long, heavy D/A trigger pull, i never had any problems with it. I wouldn't have hesitated to depend on it in a self defense situation.

The trigger pull seems to be the biggest gripe with the Sigma, but after a couple magazines full i got used to the trigger pull. All in all, i'm happy with it.
