Sorry, off topic a bit. In that picture of the speed six, what's the additional piece on the grip behind the trigger guard. It gives the grip a thicker look. I like that.

Hammer, wide chisel, pliers, patience and be sure to wear gloves, those edges are sharp. I've opened many spam that way.

I have two Russian Makarovs, only difference is one is designed to hold 12rnds and the other 8. Love the Maks!

Every morning I run a patch of rem-oil through the barrel followed by a couple of dry patches. If anything, I do this to push out any dust or fuzzy bunnies in the barrel and it keeps the barrel protected w/o having to leave it oiled overnight and run all over my clothes. Afterward, wipe off...

It's also my daily carry. I take it off my hip, put it in the nightstand drawer and strap it on the next day.

My experience has been that they shoot decent, but ugly as sin. They'll pretty much shoot any brand ammo and have a lifetime warranty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

For reliability, I carry my G27 or one of Makarovs
