Deer season is here and I hope to be able to fill the freezer again with some venison. I always do my own butchering, but struggle each year using knives during the process that are just "OK". Can anyone recommend a good set of knives that are not hugely expensive but work great and hold an edge?
Thanks for the replies. I gave it very thorough cleaning before I shot it. It was very dirty. I'm just going to use it for hunting, so I guess I won't worry about it too much.

I have a coyote and a black bear skull that I'm bleaching for a display. Most of the teeth are either loose or fell out. What type of glue is best for gluing the teeth back in?
I went on a Black bear hunt with Birddog a couple of years ago. Our guide had a steel litter that we used to carry out our bears. It was kind of like a stretcher without any fabric covering. Either that, or one of those deer carriers on wheels might work.
