Uberti 1858 remington new army, stainless or blued?

1858 uberti I have one of each, a Uberti stainless and a uberti blued. I would be hard pressed to say I like one or the other today, but yesterday I liked the.....better and the day before it was the other?? Thats why I have one of each. Both are great.

What a wonderful afternoon to shoot

By the looks of your photos it looks like it was a very nice day in your area. I commend your patience--10 cylinders reloaded. I went out Wednes with 3 revolvers @ 2 cylinders each did me in with a little 1911 as seasoning. I will say tho it probably was a bit chillier here in my area with...

Remington New Army vs. Colt 1860 Army

I think that a vote for each is most appropriate. Were I needing to carry--it would be one of each, as they each have their pecularities and there positives. Yup, i would have to hedge my bets and vote one for each.

I would hope that you post a few more photos after you unwrap your Christmas present. Wow! I see the 1860 stainless is now up to almost $1200? Amazing.

    WOW! Stainless Steel 1860 & 1851 Colts!

Very handsome set Mr McGee. But shouldn't they be wrapped and under the tree?

    WOW! Stainless Steel 1860 & 1851 Colts!

Every body to their own, but I really like the 1860. Something about the stainless in the 44 remington and the the 1860. Nice.
