I deploy the knife by starting it with my left index finger via the cutout and thumbhole. I finish the movement with my left thumb. Unless you were asking about something else. ;) After practice, it deploys fast and easy.

I have a Leupold VX-3 on a .300 WSM and it is a very nice scope. I recently got a 4x32 Nikon Prostaff for the 10/22 for $109 and I must say that it is also a very nice scope.

Factory mags. I will try to see where it is hanging up. This happened before I put the rail on. I have another mag I will see if it does the same thing.

I was attaching the scope rail on my 10/22 and I noticed that chambering a round results in this type of marking (it is more than a mark, it is 'dented') of the bullet. Can anyone weigh in on this?
