    Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph

Yes, you can set bullet grains and it will provide more calculations and set session notes for load, etc. If you do this before you export to xls format, the notes are included in the export.

    .22 revolver?

I have 2 DA .22lr revolvers, both of which have decent triggers and good accuracy. They are the Taurus 942 and Rossi R98 Plinker. Of the 2, the Rossi has a ligther trigger, but it also has at least 1000 more rounds than the Taurus. The sights are windage and elevation adjustable on the Rossi...

    did longmire get it wrong

It was fairly easy to decock safely (always with a thumb under the hammer) a WWI spur hammer. Easy to cock if you have large hands. When they changed the hammer/Grip safety dimensions because people develop flinches from the bleeding hammer bites it got harder. The commander hammer and...

What new rifles are most exciting to you this year? Or over the past year?

To add to this list, they cleaned up the bolt so that cycling it doesn't sound like you are walking in corduroy pants.

    Huge Plastic Jugs

Yes, makes no sense to double the size of the container.

    100 grn 300 Blackout

Lighter than I load 300BO. Even my subs are 150grn. Good plinking bullets for .30 Carbine though. If you were near me, I would definitely be thinking about what I had to trade....

    Reasonable cost 7.62x39 Upper

I have an older PSA upper that works 100% with a standard lower and cproducts/asc/d&h. I think the misfeed reputation came from before dedicated mags came out for them. I have not heard of any uppers made in the last 10 years that have had issues to my recollection. BCA has really been...

Thinking about a RIA 22 AR style.

I would generally recommend the CMMG dedicated bolt and barrel kits, but they have gone up a lot in price. I never got acceptable accuracy from their conversions (although the conversion kit can be"upgraded" to the dedicated by buying their barrel. However, these days it's hard to pass up BCA...

I'll have to code a module for those. How do you keep them from walking out?

I was actually going for bigger, I may do a smaller one too. I'm working on one, not happy with the hinges yet.

    Bullets matter!

So basically, you would: -Shoot 10 Foulers -Shoot 10 Groups of 3 shots each (at 200+?)- I assume: -wait x minutes/seconds between shots -alternate charge weights beween shots -reset rifle position between shots -Plot the POI for all shots -Look for a mean (median?) POI and narrow down...

    Bullets matter!

@Varminterror A lot of people have been working up loads in this method for a very long time, and it does work. Maybe not as efficiently as other methods, but it does work. There is a rather obvious "analog" trend of these groups to group better at lower powder charges. It would be worthwhile...

Is Glock the Colt 1911 of the 1980s & earlier?

If you want to scratch that itch a little, wait for the Palmetto State Dagger SWCH. It may be aluminum on the bottom end, but it has a swappable FCU, and at least the slide, barrel, sights are Glock compatible. It is based off the Live Free Armory AMP. Polymer lowers and more compatible parts...

Is Glock the Colt 1911 of the 1980s & earlier?

You might be into something. Around here (admittedly in PSA's home country) I am starting to see more PSA daggers at the range than Glocks. They are basically a Glock with customization options. Reminds me of old Springfield 1911s, then Kimbers with their new beaver tails, angled slide cuts...

The Remington Model 31 is the finest pump action ever made, fight me

I'd say you might just have the best pump shotgun for sure. Hope you get it fixed back to perfect. Of course, like most other manufacturers, the older it is, the better. For Ithacas, if you can slam fire it, it is "old enough." Oh, the Remington is nice too ;)
