    .25 acp ?

I had a little Beretta .25 but sold it after NAA came out with their .32 Guardian. I still prefer my S&W 442 .38 way more than the .32 but between the .25 or .32 I will take the .32 any day over a .25 auto. BTW, the Guardian has been 100% reliable and is a quality product.

Thinking about coming back to revolvers - 3" GP-100

I was just doing some hiking and camping a couple of weeks ago and brought my 3" GP100 along. I own several .357's and this is one of my absolute favorites. IMHO it has the perfect combination of ergonomics, balance and power.

Help me decide on a carry pistol...

I heartily recommend the 642. I have the 442 (same basic gun) and love it. I know this opinion is not shared by everyone but when it comes to small concealed weapons I feel much more secure in the reliability of a small J frame over a smallish pistol. Real defensive shooting is not anywhere near...

Choose 3 concealed carry guns and explain

    (1) S&W 640 .357 mag - I like this when it is cool enough to wear a covering garment. I carry it in a IWB holster between my pants and the inside of my belt. (2) S&W 442 - great pocket carry gun that I can carry "almost" all of the time. (3) NAA Guardian .32 for those rare occasions when...

Looking for feedback on the S&W 5906...

I've owned one for over 20 years and it is a great pistol. I have NEVER had any failures with it. A little on the heavy side but extremely well made and very comfortable to shoot.

    The Perfect gun.

Landlockred Pirate The S&W 65 I have is the Ladysmith version with the full ejector shroud. I polished it up so it is now a "mansmith". I actually didn't like the bead blasted finish and I put a set of Pachmayr Compac Professional grips on it.

    The Perfect gun.

I have developed a fondness for 3" barrel .357's and as such own a 3" S&W 65that is as close to perfect in a revolver as I think I am going to find. I also have a 3" Ruger GP100 (short shroud) that is right up there with the 65. I own and have owned several different makes and types of pistols...

    Revolvers and OWB holsters

I recently did some hiking and camping with my 3" GP100 and carried it in an Uncle Mike's Side Kick hip holster. I have never carried a revolver in an OWB holster and felt that compared to a pistol in the exact same style of holster it felt a little top heavy because of the grip sticking up and...

    What gun should I buy?

I'm with Thernlund on this about loving these open ended questions. I also find it very interesting when people completely ignore the parameters you have set and suggest getting something not even made in the caliber(s) you specified. Anyway, since I don't know what you have I will tell you...

    Which would you choose?

I did decide to take my 3" GP100 and bought an Uncle Mike's Sidekick hip holster to carry it in. Thanks for all the responses.

    Which would you choose?

I appreciate the replies but once again I am not considering buying a new gun. These are the guns from my current collection that I have narrowed it down to. I am leaning towards the GP100 but the 5906 has its appeal as well, since I am not overly concerned about four legged adversaries nearly...

Have you ever used your gun for SD and how many bullets did you use?

Several years ago while returning from a late night walk around my neighborhood I was confronted by two individuals that wouldn't stop their approach even after I asked them to several times. I lived in a very nice upscale area in a cul de sac and these folks certainly didn't live any where...

    Which would you choose?

Thanks for the input so far. Just to let you know I already own these guns and they are the 3 out of my collection that I am considering. To my buddy, Ala Dan, I won't need to put food on the table; I'm bringing plenty of food along in coolers.:D

    Which would you choose?

I know there have been threads and polls like this before but these are the 3 handguns I am deciding between for a weekend hiking, very easy hiking BTW, and camping trip. This will be in Northern Arizona so I know that grizzlies will not be an issue. I just want some protection with me as I am...

NAA Guardian .32ACP with an incredibly heavy trigger

I have a Guardian .32 and my trigger is no where near 15 pounds. If I were you I would contact NAA and see what they say. Although I've never needed their service department I hear on the NAA forum that they are great.
