    7.62 NATO Question

The hornady FMJ is probably the most accurate FMJ you'll find and it tolerates the huge jump well if seated to the cannelure.

    Case cleaning/polishing

That's nasty. My brass gets washed during my monthly bath along with the silverware.

Keeping reloads in like new condition

Can't remember his name on here but one of the old timers of the high road was an ammo manufacturer for the LAPD back in the sixties and seventies, he recommended a capful of kerosene in a tumbler bowl of fresh corncob to keep ammo shiny forever( at least until it starts getting handled all the...

    Coated bullets and revolvers

Hello all, I recently purchased an sp101 in 327mag and have some questions about loading for it. I have a lot of 32 h&r and 32 s&w long cases and I plan to order a few thousand wadcutter bullets. I have switched over to coated bullets for all my autoloaders and taper crimp them but was...

What have you done in the reloading room today

I see that on old Remington and Twin Cities brass. I wonder if they're drawing it too thin in the manufacturing process?

LE Wilson Case trimmer with micrometer worth the money?

Here is Ol' Crusty, 35 years or so of use, mostly on brass for highpower competition.

    Another disappointing die purchase

I am slowly replacing all of my hornady dies. I ran my Hornady and RCBS 9mm sizing dies along side each other and the difference in force required and burnishing of the brass is night and day different. The brass is harder to size and comes out kind of smeared looking with the Hornady. Same...

LE Wilson Case trimmer with micrometer worth the money?

I love my Wilson, no micrometer but it's the best lathe type trimmer made.

    Bullets matter!

Headwind/tailwind effect is negligible isn't it? At least at normal earth wind speeds. I'm thinking sunlight conditions changed. On second thought, that would shift the group, not string it out.

    Bullets matter!

It was not not my intent rile you. Was just asking an honest question.

    Bullets matter!

I don't understand this. What changes from two to three hundred that you can't shoot a group with confidence? It seems to me the further your target is, the easier to discern changes in whatever load you're testing.

    Trimming .30 Carbine brass

I've tried several lathe type trimmers to trim 30 carbine and they were less than ideal. An RCBS trim die is the quick and painless way to do it as far as I'm concerned.
