Transporting a gun on a plane

Get a VERY GOOD HARD CASE, baggage handlers have been known to treat luggage with rough and disinterested abandon. Sometime even throwing items onto the floor or tarmac.

When will president Trumps new SCOTUS appointee take office?

America will move onward and upward. AMMO & COMPONENTS pressure should be relieved and become more plentiful, EXCEPT some real nut jobs in California have passed some more very restrictive firearms related things. for their residents. SHAMEFUL REALLY!

Time to stock up on ammo?

Most folks I know have the capability to ROLL THEIR OWN, They also keep several years of supplies on hand since Bill Clinton days. That helps ease your tensions, CALL IT AN "INSURANCE POLICY"

    38 Special - 357 vs 38

Model 10 S&W or Model 64 S&W (a model 10 in Stainless) are great revolvers to shoot and carry. 38 Special is a great caliber to shoot and reload. I load them with Bullseye powder, cheap and lots of loads per pound of powder. I have a 64 Heavy Barrel DAO 4" 38 Special purchased from J&G Sales...

Where do you rank the 38 snubby as far as a defensive weapon

J-Frame, or K-frame S&W revolvers are great, with a speed loader, or a couple speed strips, you're good to go. SNUBBIES are expert handguns and you must practice regularly with them. Some folks carry a NY or Chicago Reload. (a snubby AND a semi-auto together).

    Chiappa Rhino Kaboom= injury.

I've had a Rhino 2" 357 since their introduction. I like it, although a 357 and I have shot 357's through it, mostly I shoot 38 Specials. A weird looking handgun till you hold it, the grip feels just fine in your hand. The bore is inline with your extended arm and you could shoot 357's...

Redding Big Boss II on the way!

I just BROKE OFF a standard pencil in the groove, primers fall through the ram and out the tube, before some hit the slot and bounced onto the floor, but NO MORE. BIG BOSS II is a great single stage press.
