Farnsworths Firearms in Vonore. They have display cases full of WWI & 2 firearms and other trophys. Lots of surplus rifles and old sporting guns. Worth a visit just to see it all.
Here is mine and it's brothers a 3" GP-100 and a 2 3/4" Security Six.
I use a Don Hume IWB holster for carry. I can't seem to get decent close ups after dark.
I have a 905 and it sticks with everything, +P or not. I wouldn't dare carry it for defense due to this but it is a neat alternative to other snubbies. I have extensively polished the chambers to try and correct the extraction problem but to no avail so far. Yes, recoil can be sharp and I found...
Mine was a Springfield MilSpec 1911. It would not stay on an IPSC target at 25 yds. A friend of mine bought one just like it at the same shop on the same day. His was equally bad but he had it remade into an excellent weapon with the attention of a good smith. Maybe the factory was having an off...
I have an unconverted Enfield No. 2 (.38) marked RAF 1937. Top Breaks are neat weapons. Mine is light and balances well. The single action is light and crisp. I need a Mk. VI to go with it.
Yes, I own one. Out of the box it exhibited many light strikes and had to go back to the factory. On return the light strikes were fixed but extraction was by rubber mallet only. Dealer said to polish the chambers. I have probably spent four hours polishing but extraction is still next to...
I have had an Off Duty model for at least 25 years. It was my first centerfire handgun. Other than the front sight falling off once (resoldered by a local smith) it has been fine. It has been accurate and reliable. I didn't use +P in mine either.
My cousin has one. It is a beautiful rifle. The lever throw is much shorter than with a Marlin or Winchester. If you're not used to it it won't feel natural. My cousin's is very smooth and accurate (open sights). It is a fun plinker.
I bought one a month ago and intended to write a review and post it. However on it's first range outing it had so many light strikes that the dealer sent it back to Taurus. It hasen't come back yet. Another thing I found was that unlike my 625, the rounds flopped around a lot in the moon clips...
I also have an FNP-9. It came with three sixteen rd mags and does not have a magazine disconnect. The sights are very well regulated. In fact it is the only fixed sight auto I have ever owned that shot to point of aim out of the box. Now, if I could only find a holster.
That was the poorest attended Knoxville show I have ever been to. With the possible exception of one held the same weekend as the Nascar race at Bristol. Still, I did pick up a nice pencil barrel model 64.
Our Sheriff was on the news yesterday saying that he was sure the rifle was unloaded and that they had only received the rifles last week. He reported that they had not issued them yet. This is the same department that had a deputy killed by a sixteen year old last year. The rifles were...
