I carry one every day and I'm quite impressed. It is rock solid and haven't had a single non-user-error malfunction yet. That being said in the same price range if your looking for 1911 I'd look at the Ruger sr1911. It seems a little better for about the same price assuming you can find one.

Blade edge handle. FWIW the lock attached to the blade edge is called batanga and of the lock is attached to the spine handle it is called Manila style IIRC. Point is neither is right it seems. Purely preference.

If you Luke nylon look at the bison designs heavy duty (although the light duty may work for a glock) last chance belt. Its what I'm using until I can afford a nice leather belt. I carry a full-size 1911 and its perfectly sufficient, made in the US, and not bad looking (if you like nylon)
