Okay, I've found on the inside of the frame where the cylnder swings out. It says MOD 65-4. So I am assuming this is the model. Can anyone give me any good information about this gun. Thanks Again.

I bought a Smith and Wesson .357 today. I' pretty sure it is a model 65. What I dont know is if it is a 1 2 or 3. The Serial Number is BPC1XXX Is ther anyone who can give me some information about this gun. Thank you,

Thanks for all the replies. I paid $150 for it. I figured it would be about the same if I bought a mosin, stock, scope, bullets and so on. The blueing has been stripped off. I'll reblue it this week. There is no rust at all on this rife. It's not entirely my favorite setup, I'll take it...
