I thought about, briefly:
What if the gun is stolen in route to Kimber?
Am I liable if something were to go wrong (if they repaired it and killed or injured someone)?
I could not insure it properly or at all because it is not what I stated?
So that part is out, but thanks for the idea
Shoot I wish I had a GM near me, I would definatly use them. The local gun shop here said to me that it would be a $ 50 charge plus shipping
I was like wow!!!!
I am getting ready to ship my Ultra CDP back to Kimber so they can fix the problem with the safeties that I posted about in this thread > http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=305672
I called Kimber and asked them what do I do to ship it to them to get the repair done. The gentleman on...
Yeah it was the ambi safety and I now have to play the waiting game once I ship it
That worries me and to let you know the just fell out onto the floor, nothing sheared off or anything, just fell off
It worries me to be honest
I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen. I purchased an ultra cdp carry II about 4/5 months ago and it has worked flawlessly right out of the box. This past Monday I was packing for a trip to North Carolina from Dallas and picked up the cdp to unload it. When I pulled the...
I know that they gave it out because it states on all the mailings > "special deals for NRA members"
How else would these other companies know that I as an NRA member? Did they drive behind me in my car and see my membership sticker
And why do I have to be overreacting, maybe you see it...
sorry i did not mean to say >"selling your rights away"
I meant that they were selling our private information/membership information. Address and stuff like that
And I am not overreacting at all, but your going to say what you want
Sure I am a pussy, think what you want, sure I am acting...
I called and talked to membership services and while this will get you off their mailings and stop your information from being given out anymore, they cannot guarantee that your address wont be used by those third party companies any longer and that they could also give your information out...
see what really pisses me off though is that they are selling our membership information to third parties for a fee I am sure. I get insurance and magazine subscription things in the mail all the time and to be honest it is a real beating
I thought that associations such as the NRA were here...
I listened to my friends and they all told me that I should join the NRA. They stated that my membership money would be used to help fight for my rights, so I believed them. Now while it was only a one year membership, I did feel like I was being cheap by only joining for one year @ $25.00
So...
Is this the right BoreSnake > http://www.gunaccessories.com/BoreSnake/BoreSnakeCleaningKit.asp
which one do I get, I don't see one specifically for a .223 > the .22 ?
Also on the standard GI rods, I am pulling and pushing the bore brush, I have always done that from the front of the barrel...
I spent 8.5 years in the Army and used only the standard cleaning kits that the arms room provided. Back then I broke the rods like they were going out of styly but did not care if I did because I could always get a new one.
Now that I own an AR15 (M-4), I have gone through 4 cleaning kits...
