I picked up a model 29 this weekend and when I got it home and looked closer at the frame, I noticed that what I thought was a dash 3 was actually a dash 2 with a 3 stamped over the 2. It is an 8 3/8 nickel gun that is not pinned or recessed. Has anyone ever seen this before? Thanks!! Matt

Here lies the problem. I do not have my heart set on a DW. I would much prefer a 4" Redhawk. I just haven't found one. I have been trying to trade my 9, that I don't have any ammo for, for a 44, that I have tons of ammo for. I want a double action 44 to carry when I'm at my hunting...

After killing my knuckles a few times, I put a standard Blackhawk grip frame with Hogue grips on my 7.5 SBH and I get just as much of a handful and none of the knuckle dusting. Thanks!! Matt

Thanks for the input. I tend to load a little hot and I know the rugers can take that and the smiths don't like it so much, but I wasn't sure about the DW's. I have been trying to trade one of my 9mm's for a double action 44, all I have right now are single action rugers, and a guy has offered...

It's an RG. I own 2 of them now and have had several over the years. They seem to be well made and they shoot just fine. $50.00 is a bargain. the last one I sold I got $110.00 for and it did not have the magnum cylinder.
