Rifles and Shotguns are not considered "firearms"? I know nothing about PA's carry laws, but I visit there occasionally so I should probably learn what I can. I'm in the Military, does that mean I'm ok, or do I have to be in a military vehicle with a military weapon for that to count?

An instructor once told me using CLP in the barrel of a precision rifle will leave behind some Teflon, which will cause inconsistent muzzle velocities for as long as it's present. I still use CLP in the barrels of CQB carbines and handguns.

Mega Machine makes lowers with a very similar texture on the front of the magwell, if thats what you are after and can't find the Magpul. I couldn't say if Mega Machine is any easier to find though. Mine was an impulse buy at a gun show a couple years ago. sorry for the blurry photo.
