Screw on recoil pad for Stoeger Coach Gun

I contacted Stoeger by phone a few days ago to see if they have something that will fit. They said they don't have anything that will fit or even come close and they don't know if any aftermarket pads will work. ETA: Even the Kick Killer lace up pads are not wide enough. For anyone wanting to...

Screw on recoil pad for Stoeger Coach Gun

Just checked Pachmayr grind to fit templates and no luck there either.

Screw on recoil pad for Stoeger Coach Gun

So I printed out the sixteen pages of templates from Limbsaver and not a single one will fit. None of the screw holes line up and none of them are wide enough. I now have to look through each of the other brands to see if something will fit, but it's not looking good so far. The Kickeez 105 and...

Screw on recoil pad for Stoeger Coach Gun

Thanks. I did have the 105 bookmarked just in case since I did see the stock for sale somewhere and it was advertised to fit both the Coach Gun and Uplander. The problem is they might mean the Coach Gun Supreme which has it's own rubber butt plate and won't fit on the standard Coach Gun stock. I...

Screw on recoil pad for Stoeger Coach Gun

Was this on a Stoeger Coach gun? If so, Do you remember the part number or size of the pad and what brand you used? I've fit a Limbsaver before, but I had to take the plastic plate to a store in order to find one that was close. I can't do that right now so I need to order it online and would...

Screw on recoil pad for Stoeger Coach Gun

I just bought a 12ga Stoeger Coach gun that I haven't taken possession of yet and I'd like to replace the plastic plate with a recoil reducing rubber butt pad. Are there any direct replacements or grind to fit models that are close? I've been searching online and people talk about replacing the...

    Ruger Wrangler

I was interested in a Wrangler until I held one at a shop. Terrible mushy trigger with clunky mechanics.

    PSA PS9 Dagger

One things for sure, it's another clone that shows how inexpensive a Glock should be.

Bought a Ruger GP 100 today

It was the first gun I ever owned and I still have it. Accurate, fun to shoot and it still locks up nice and tight like when it was new.

    Chiappa Rhino 30DS

Yes I know about the picture. As I previously stated "For every one Rhino sold I'm willing to bet thousands if not tens of thousand (more maybe?) of regular revolvers have been sold." There's not going to be a lot of data for a gun not many people own. I also stated that "Also, most people that...

    Chiappa Rhino 30DS

Just Google "revolver kaboom" and you'll see some with intact top straps. Some top straps are beefier than others. No matter what, it's about which direction the blast is going, not if the top strap or the revolver itself will survive. Having the top strap break off is preferable to the aluminum...

    Chiappa Rhino 30DS

I understand squib rounds having a few of them myself. The point is to check any gun when you only hear a faint pop. Luckily you had squib that didn't destroy the gun, but there's also the possibility of an over charged round that will cause a kaboom. If I had a kaboom in a Rhino, I would...

    Chiappa Rhino 30DS

Fair enough. The point I'm making is the guns won't come apart like the a normal revolver. Did you catch the squib before you shot another round or shoot another round and have both bullets exit the barrel?

    Chiappa Rhino 30DS

This isn't about stupidity or overconfidence, this is about something that can happen with any ammo, including factory loaded ammo. IF and I mean IF there is a kaboom in a Rhino the blast WILL go down into the shooters hand. It's no different than the blast WILL go up in a conventional revolver.

    Chiappa Rhino 30DS

The thing is look at every normal revolver kaboom. It goes up and out to the sides. There's not as many Rhinos in the wild as normal configured revolvers like S&Ws, Rugers, Taurus, etc. The only Rhino kabooms that have been reported on the internet caused severe damage to the hand and grenaded...
