I have a friend who is a licensed NFA dealer. Lots of cool toys. When he goes to a range or visits me he enjoys shooting a Mosin. 32 caliber revolver, black powder hand guns and H&R replica 45-70 carbines and rifles. He brings along vintage reloading stuff and loads one round at a time...

I wish S&W would make revolvers the way they used to. And bring back the 4506.

The VZ 58 is not an AK. Only thing they have in common is the cartridge. AK mags wont work. Mags are plentiful and reasonable. Much better weapon imho.

SKB is a good one. Or it might be possible to find a 1960s era Charles Daily. Between my dad an i we owned 12 of them. Really good O/U skeet guns.

Hammer, trigger, springs for both and buffer tube are the same for all as far as I know. Retaining pins for trigger and hammer also. All 6 of the AR 10s i have owned were Armalite, can't comment on the others. But... get upper and lower from the same maker. Read too many stories about folks that...
