Very good flick - and a great example of how the military gets treated as pawns of the politicians. Although they never got all the recognition they deserved, at least there was some acknowledgement in the end.

Federal Expanding FMJ (EFMJ) is reported to have better winter performance because it doesn’t have a hollow tip to get clogged. Someone needs to get Carrhart and Smithfield as sponsors so they can donate jackets and pigs that can be dressed to replicate real world performance!

I used the TAPCO G2 FCG on both my Saiga Sporter conversions (7.62x39 and 12 gauge) and they’ve been great. I did a little bit of smoothing on the hammer to keep the bolt fro, getting hung up but that was minor. It was an easy way to add three 922R compliance parts to my build!

I have a few: Beretta CX4, CZ Bren 2 Ms, and an Sig MPX K. All three are excellent shooters. As the only “full sized” carbine (16” barrel), the CX4 is hard to argue with!

I’m in favor of LGS to a point. Depending on the price of the gun, I may go up to $100 over online…because I want my local store to be there next year. But there are definitely times I will go with the lower price online. (I’ll generally have it transferred to my other FFL who only handles a few...

It’s not just USPS…our local Town FB page (3,000 people) is full of “XXX says a package was delivered….if you find it” posts, At least Amazon includes a photo to help you narrow down where they mis-delivered it!

Would I rely on an AK? Absolutely. Would it be my first choice? No. That said, I’ve become a fan or AR’s in 7.62x39….

My daughter found some really cool drink chillers - shaped like bullets. Stick them in the freezer then in your glass. They chill without melting and diluting the drink.
