.357 is my favorite cartridge. I have never had a problem with the noise or the recoil. In fact, I find that it is the recoil and sound of the gun that makes it so much fun for me to shoot. Of course, the right grip for your hand is oh so important in managing recoil and accuracy.
The man had good intentions but poor judgment:

All I have to say is WOW! This is the ultimate indoor gun range. Just check out the video that was posted on "The Firearm Blog". Unfortunately the dialog in the video is in German, but I think you will get the point.

I guess I am in the minority. I have never liked the look of the wood insert grips and I don't like the way they feel in my hand. But as it has been said it is personal. In my opinion, grips should be either wood or rubber, not a combination of both. Oh yeah, let's not leave out stag, "ivory"...

I recently acquired a new handgun and was anxious to take it to the range and see how it shoots. Well, my first outing with it was disappointing to say the least. I was shooting high and to the left by 4"-6". Previously I was shooting pretty accurately with a 9mm semi-auto and a 6" revolver, and...
I have to agree. I had an SR9 and hated the trigger. I traded it for a GP100-6" and have not looked back or regretted it. In fact, I got a GP100-4" to go along with the 6", since I loved the 6 so much.
Just to make things clear, I am not criticizing the female LEO for her bad performance, just surprised by it. I do commend her for at least practicing to improve her shooting skills.
I am surprised because I just assumed that LEOs had better training than what they get. It is an unfortunate...
Actually I really considered asking her if I might offer her some help and tips on trigger control. All that I have learned about how to shoot well I have learned from you guys here on this forum. The only reason that I did not offer her my help is that I felt like who am I to offer help when...
