There has been a delay in getting parts from Germany for the past year. Keep checking and maybe they will come back into stock again. Or maybe not Sig is not supporting parts for older model guns any more. I needed p228 extractors and Sig does not sell them anymore. When I called they said...
The main reason I am using AR cases it that I have nearly 400 of them. Also they are easier to use in my opinion never liked moon clips.
Joem1945 what powder are you using?
I searched the forum and didnt find anything on FAL coated bullets made by Falcon Bullet Company.

Has anyone used these or heard anything about them? I was thinking of giving them a try but wanted some input first.
I bought some 9mm tula ammo from walmart. I shot it up and resized it and now its way over the max case length. Not sure if its worth trimming it or not. The stuff I have doesn't look crimped to answer your question. Probably not worth your time for 20 pieces if you have a lot.
Thanks for the info everyone. I will go ahead and order some 230gr lead bullets and a shell holder haha. I have alot of unique so I will try that powder out first.
I have a 1917 colt in 45acp that I enjoy shooting and will be reloading for. I was wondering if people use lead or plated bullets for target loads? What loads does everyone like to use for target practice? I will be using auto rim cases.
Thanks
Mag on the left is 9mm 15rd mag made for the p228 and p229 9mm only frame. I made the mistake of thinking all 229's could be swapped over to 40 or 357sig but that is not true.
Mag on the right has the bump about half way down. You dont want any mags with that bump they wont work in your 9mm...
Since its a striker fire it only has one trigger pull so I dont think there is a way to have a SRT type trigger. The trigger you get is what you get. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
Remember some of the fore mentioned guns are not that old in terms of design so they are protected by copyright laws. 1911 and such are no longer which is the reason why everyone makes them. Once a company like Sig losses their copyrights on their p series guns other will undoubtedly copy them.
I currently reload for my 9mm 229. When I bought the gun I also bought the 40 s&w conversion slide for my 229 and when I received it the the 40 mag wouldnt fit. I called Sig and apparently my 229 is a 9mm only frame ***. So I would suggest to you that you get the 40 s&w or 357 sig. Then to...
If its what you want do it. I wouldn't worry about it being too shiny. If something does go down its all going to happen so fast that the shiny cylinder isnt going to make any difference. Too much is made of shiny guns and bad guys. Look around your home and where ever you are there are...
You also need to remember that the number 24 million is the contract number and not the actual amount they will purchase. They will probably buy significantly less. A high contract number ensures that if they do need it they can get it and it also gets them a better price. Dont buy into the...
