Does anyone remember a blowgun/slingshot hybrid?

I'd love to find a Megadart somewhere. It would be great fun and I could play with modified darts to exploit it's potential even more.

A picture of the Megadart would be nice if you could do that please.

Has anyone ever made a 3"-5 shot .45 acp revolver?

I can easily see just making a stronger roll crimp in cartridge like .45LC would solve the problem, but I'm not clear on what you can do about crimp jumping in a taper crimp cartridge like the .45acp. It may be my mistaken impression, but I've always felt like the taper crimp used in automatic...

Has anyone ever made a 3"-5 shot .45 acp revolver?

Ding Ding Ding!!! We have a winner! You all don't know this, but I keep coming full circle back to this one. I suppose, the only concern I have about the 325PD is bullets jumping crimp since the acp is taper crimped and not roll crimped. I've read a few accounts from reputable sources about...

Has anyone ever made a 3"-5 shot .45 acp revolver?

Holy Mackeral! I had no idea it was that heavy. A Mountain Gun is only 39 oz! And that's 6 shots and a 4" barrel (though tapered). Hmmm. Maybe a Taurus 455SS2 would be better in the mid 20's oz range.

Has anyone ever made a 3"-5 shot .45 acp revolver?

Another Questions Can anyone tell me how much the 3" .44 spl S&W 696 weighed? I can't find it anywhere on the net.

You know, something like the S&W 696, but in .45 acp. I'd love to get my hands on something like that.

    SP101 Picture Thread

I'd love to find a 4" .32 maggie SP101 with the barrel trimmed down to half lug. Love the SP101 but really, is the full lug needed on a .32 H&R? I'd reather drop the excess weight.

    I'm such a sucker for gimmicks (Tippmann's C3)

Hmmmmm.... I see lots of possiblities with this little gizmo. Anyone say Logan's Run? Some lightweight compressed magnesium balls with a compressed thermite core.... Benevolent self cauterizing wounds.

    Anyone shot tires before?

9mm 115 gr fmj at deflated tires at the local dump when I was a kid. These were just tires, no rims or anything. Bullets bounced off and came sailing right back by our heads. Never tried it again.

Just bought a Redhawk, what aftermarket grips??

Don't forget the Butler Creek rubber grip. It has a little more squared bottom than the Hogue. I happen to have one NIB. Let me know if you're interested.

I just got off the line with Charter 2000's CEO!

If someone would make an I framed .32 mag with a 4 or 5" barrel, I'd be all over it like white on rice. I personally know of a few other people who would be all over that as well.

Looking for .45 colt 230gr FMJ loads

Thanks all! Jim, does that load listed in the Hornady manual refer to "Ruger only" or any .45 LC? I have a ruger and a smith in .45 LC and for plinking loads I'm looking for a load that would work for both.

Looking for .45 colt 230gr FMJ loads

Sorry, .45 colt in the cartridge world is .45 "long" colt. The "long" part is actually a commonly used misnomer. My mistake, I forget that not everyone knows that. Definitely not .45 acp. And these loads are for a revolver, not a levergun. I see 230 gr FMJ on sale at midway frequently for...
