California Gun Laws are so evil, why?.......

Exactly. Note what a great job all these laws are doing keeping guns out of the hands of the street gangstahs. Tom

Question about the economics of reloading

Reloading is very relaxing for me. Gotta factor in all the money it saves on Prozac and counseling. ;-) Tom

Almost forgot. Have been unable to get mil spec primers so I use Wolff magnums loaded 15% below max. Cycle fine, accurate and no pressure signs. Tom

Looking for advice on M1 reloading components

I have had very good luck with Varget. Have found several internet sources for pulled and polished military 150 gr bullets. They work just fine and are cheap. Tom

    Loading for the Garand

I use mostly swaged GI brass. Also use pulled 158 gr GI bullets that have been re rounded. Varget works fine for me as do Wolf large rifle primers. Be sure to check case length about every other turn through the die. Takes a bit of practice and attention to detail but reloading for the...

    New to 45ACP

Have had excellent luck with Bullseye when I could get it and now Titegroup. Personally had bad luck with high power spring, tore the crap out of my buffer. I use about 2/3 max for target work. Friendswood Bullet Co on the net had a very nice lead RN flat point 200 gr at a good price...

Double Fires and Flying Brass - Help!

Back when the old rickety 1911s were used to train GIs, runaways happened with it emptying the whole clip on one squeeze. Tom

    Cheapest 30 cal bullets?

Try River View military pulls at http://www.rvow.com/Default.htm They inspect and size after the pull to I have never had a feeding or accuracy problems in a Garand. I assume they would work OK on deer. Worked just fine on Germans, Japanese and Koreans. $55.00 per thousand, or 5.5...

A "first" for me -- Wolf primers

They work fine for me. Just remember they are a trifle oversized so will take a bit of extra pressure to fully seat. Tom
