    Good point about the trigger guard--if a holster makes me feel the need to carry with the safety on, that's not the holster I'll be using (I'm a DA/SA fan for carry--no cocked and locked for me) Do you know of any holsters fitted to the rail but not locked to it, that do cover the trigger guard?
