    Hornady Critical Defense

Since early 2010, I have been using Hornady Critical Defense in .380, 9mm 38 and 357. I have never had any issues with this ammo. It feeds reliably, fires every time, muzzle flash and recoil hardly noticeable, expands well and is very accurate. It is also readily available at Bass Pro, Gander...

    Pepper spray or taser

Also look at the Kimber Pepper Blaster II. It has received very good reviews both on the street and in gun magazines. Watched a video of a guy hit with it and he threw up.

    Pepper spray recommendations

For what it's wroth, I also believe the Kimber Pepper Blaster II is an effective personal defense tool. It points easier than the original pepper blaster. The Pepper Blaster is highly rated both in street use and in gun magazines.

Wisconsin Legal Pepper or Bear Spray?

Kimber Pepper Blaster II. It is 10% OC 4 Million Scoville Heat Units with 2.4% Major Capsaicinoids. It does not have UV Dye and is legal in WI. This product has received excellent reviews in both gun magazines and street use. One guy said it saved his two labs from being attacked by a pit bull...

    Pepper spray or taser

I understand. When the C2 first came out we purchased 5 units and 3 had various issues (2 completely quit working). In contrast I have purchased around 100 SABRE Pepper Sprays since 1994 with no issues. That's 12 bucks vs 400 bucks. I'll take pepper spray.

    Pepper spray or taser

I am Taser and OC pepper spray certified and I teach citizens how to use both. Taser Brand devices made by Scottsdale AZ based Taser international are going to deliver patented neuromuscular incapacitation. You won't get this with a stun gun or any other electronic control device. The effect...

Review – ASP Street Defender (Pepper Spray)

I like Sabre and Sabre Red Brands but I am sure the Street Defender would also be an effective product. I like the 3 in 1 sprays from Sabre than Blend OC with CS and UV Dye.

Also for what its worth the Pepper Blaster has issues with missed shots. I am not a fan of it as you get two very anemic shots and there is no way to test fire the unit before carrying it to make sure it works. http://gunnuts.net/2011/10/21/effective-pepper-spray/

    Pepper spray recommendations

I would look at SABRE Brand from Security Equipment Corporation. They have a 3 in 1 formulation that I can truly say works very well. The 3 in 1 burned hotter faster and more intense than red pepper only sprays. Sabre key Chain units also have 25 bursts to a range of 10 feet. Good stuff I carry...

    Rating Pepper Sprays

I recommend Sabre Red or Sabre Advanced 3 in 1 Formulation. I have been sprayed with both and the Sabre Advanced 3 in 1 worked faster and it burned much worse. Sabre makes great sprays and there are two reasons why they make some of the best products: 1. They have their own in house HPLC Lab...

    Asp key defender?

Yes some of the high pressured sprays can cause eye injuries if used up close. You have to be careful when using the High Pressure MK9 Foggers and Stream units.

    Asp key defender?

Key Defenders are a good product but I am now using the SABRE Brand OC + CS blend and it is a fine product. All of our local agencies use it and it works very well. You can buy it at Bass Pro, Academy or Midway USA.
