Thank you for your replies. My CQB scenario is "just in case" home defense. I hope I never have to play that one out. The rifle will mostly be used at the local range at 100 yards and occasionally out to 300 when I can get to another location.
I pretty much knew it was trying to do too...
Did a ton of research and reading. These are the scopes I am thinking about. Rifle is an AR15 .223 with 16inch barrel 1x7 twist. Purpose is range use with some use out in the field and home defense. Want tight groups 100-300 yards and CQB.
Any opinions are appreciated.
Thanks...
Pretty cool. Colt is supposed to be making a 22 carbine soon:

May have to wait for this toy!
If you need an FFL to buy it they will only allow you to order it through a dealer.
Will not allow you to buy directly and transfer. I just ordered a lower from them through a local shop.
Hi I put a deposit on the 2007 version of the S&W Performance Center MP15. It is different than the new one.
It appears to be made by Sun Devil. Does anyone have any info on either or has shot one?
Thanks!!!!

Hi I am a new to ARs and Optics. I have some questions concerning what Optics to buy. I have two AR15 rifles on order. A 2007 version of the S&W MP Performance Center and a Fulton Armory Carbine with 16 inch barrel.
For the M&P I want a durable scope to shoot 100 to 800 yards...

I just picked this up. I paid $1,300 new in box. You got a deal. Have not shot it yet but guys on AR15 give it good reviews:

Scott - I hate you! ;)
I can't believe you can have a silencer. That is VERY cool.
Bang - The .308 has a nice write up/Review. I will post how it shoots once it cones home.
