I was going to shoot my walker for the first time this weekend but I told the grandkids I would take them to the mule day parade. Mule day is a big deal down here in Tennessee.
and he told me that gun prices will probably go higher real soon, don't know if he was just saying that to get me to buy another gun or if it's for real.
He said he has some discounted guns for sale occasionally. Some with cracked grips or too many dings that they don't normally sale new...
I haven't shot my uberti walker yet but after reading this thread I set my cylinder gap to 007 thousandths and it looks like the wedge went in pretty far to achieve this measurement. On the right side where the screw is I have about 1/8 of an inch of travel left before the screw touches the end...
backstrap in the white ---polished with flitz

I just picked up my new uberti walker and it is every thing I expected and more, it's a fine quality revolver. Now you can officially add me to the walker club list, I'll be sending pics as soon as i figure out how. :)

I've noticed on my remington when i put the hammer down in the safety notch the bolt comes up and and rests on the cylinder is this normal? Wouldn't this scratch the cylinder? So instead of using the safety notch i just leave the hammer down on an empty chamber. My Pietta remington is very...
Thanks for everbody's response , I feel much better about the gouge in the pin , after taking a closer look its very possible that flame cutting was the culprit. I still can't believe how accurate it is, I was shooting it better than my 357 ruger blackhawk.
