    Which 9mm semi-Auto should I buy?

I own or have owned the following in 9mm. Glock, Springfield XDM, Beretta, Bersa, Ruger, Taurus, CZ, HK, Sig and Walther PPQ. The Walther PPQ is tied with the HK for accuracy but costs much less. All the above were good pistols except the taurus. If I had to choose just one it would...

Taking the ugly girl to the prom....

I have Glocks. Glocks are good guns but I'm curious as to what it can do that other guns can't. I respectfully disagree with your premise.

    What if 1911 never existed?

I have owned or shot most every brand of handgun at some time in the last 50 years and if there were no 1911's I'd be content with any of the H&K models I have ever shot. IMHO there is no better gun maker than H&K, outside the 1911 customs or semi customs.

    HK P30 or Sig 229

I have a P30 and I have other Sigs. The P30 is the most accurate non 1911 pistol I have EVER shot. AND it comes with TWO magazines!

    New .45. NEED help!

Dan Wesson CBOB. It doesn't get any better than this for $1K. Super accurate, eats anything.

    New Dan Wesson Commander Bobtail

You have great taste!! Here's mine with new grips, not that anything was wrong with the factory grips. I just like these!

single action mouse guns make me nervous

I carry a Sig 238 in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster C&L everyday. The safety is VERY positive and the trigger is completely covered by VERY thick holster material. Nothing goes in that pocket, including my hand. It AIN'T gonna shoot unless the laws of physics change.

Questions on Bersa Quality and UC Models

The Bersa Thunder UC in 9mm is a great pistol. Very accurate, reliable and inexpensive. Maybe the best value gun for the money that you can find. THe 9 UC IS bersas best ever.

Just Maybe the Best BUG/Mousegun Ever

It's much smaller than the Bersa .380 which I own the BT and The CC model. I don't consider the Cor Bon version a small round. The 238 is NOT a big gun. Slightly bigger than an LCP. Look at the pic in my hand and I don't have big hands. YMMV but I am totally impressed with this gun. I buy a new...

Just Maybe the Best BUG/Mousegun Ever

I picked up a Sig P238 yesterday at the Ft. Worth Gunshow, after giving up on the one I ordered from my lgs last march. I only saw 2 of these among the hundreds of, (thousands?) of other sigs there so they are hard to find. This one with night sights was $579 plus tax, steep, but so are all...

Anyone have experience with CZ2075 RAMI P

You can't go wrong with a CZ. They've been making guns since the 1930's. I have two and they are utterly reliable, accurate and fun to shoot.

    Taking the 1911 plunge

Is there any truth to the many posts I have read that blast Colts for not being the quality they were before or shabby customer service? Seems a lot of people believe they're top of the line, but lots of others feel differently. I do think the colts look first class.

    Taking the 1911 plunge

I have about a dozen handguns, .22, .380, 9mm, 40, 45ACP. I do not have and never have had a 1911. I shot them in the military and love the feel and grip but didn't shoot the government issue ones nearly as well as I shoot now. I think a 1911 is THE classiest looking handgun ever built but have...

Question for all the .45 cal. experts

I know that it is very important to use a defensive round such as Cor Bon, or DPX when using a .380, 9MM or even a .40 S&W as a primary carry weapon. I would never choose a round nosed FMJ round that's desined for target practice to defend my life. Is the same premise true for the .45 ACP...
