Anyone know anything about this? Wammo Powermaster .22 longrifle single shot.

Back in the 80's when I started in IPSIC I had a 1911 with a dot sight. A long learning curve to reacquire the dot from shot to shot. Transitioned to a TZ/CZ pistol and no problem. The main problem was the 1911 doesn't 'point' for me but the TZ does. No knock on 1911's but they just don't fit...

When I moved I threw away 30 primer box lids {1000} used to reload this pistol. Since I've put another 20,000 or so through it. Still shoots 1 1/2" groups at 25 yards. Old age and health retired me.

I've carried this one for years. Slides behind my belt and stays there all day.

Rural area. FR-8 that I paid $150 for a couple years ago. It's been in my car for ever since. Either way I come home I can see the house from 1/4 mile away. A pistol is not practical.

I've used standard primers in .222 and .223 with H-335 ,no problems. You might see a slight loss of velocity/pressure. In bigger cases you might have a problem with ball powder and regular primers but not 5.56. One source I consider reliable says there can be 3-5,000 psi difference between...

Phoenix Arms HP-22A. Guy added it to a Sweeten a trade. Took a while to figure out all the ludicrous safeties but it sure is accurate. Hit a man-sized steel plate at 100 yards 4 out of 5 times first time I shot it. I'd carry it if it wasn't for all the stupid safeties.

1922 ? Browning .380. Lusted for one for years. Shot it twice, bandaged up my hand and sold it. Bought three new Colt 1911s over the years, never got one that worked for a whole mag. Never again.

MtnCreek Has a valid point. Even a small crater can turn a bullet right back at you. A friend of mine wears a scar in the middle of his forehead from a .45 colt. He was standing in back of and slightly to the side of the shooter. I'd advise not shooting at cratered steel.

I started one forty years ago. US 1917. Got divorced,sold it. Later found out I married the daughter of the guy sold it to. Her brother gave it to me a couple years ago. It had been in his basement for thirty years. Finished it and it too is a great shooter. Not as good as yours but 5/8"...

Dick's Sporting Goods in Columbus had two bricks of CCI Standard Velocity for $39.95. A local gun show last weekend had some decent pricing on powder, primers and bullets. Most every table had .223 of some type but not selling at the high prices. .22's are still sky high.
