    Looking for more information on old Mercury Model M-34, single shot 10 gauge shotgun. Made in Spain.

    When I was a kid, my dad had a 10ga Mercury Magnum which was a double barrel shotgun. I don't recall him actually shooting it but he had one and man that thing was big and heavy. I believe he bought it in the early 1960's, which would probably be the same time period as yours.

    Yay or Nay on a NIB 4" Colt DS-II?

    The last DS I looked at back in the day was so poorly made the cylinder slop was so bad, I considered it being unsafe, especially for a NIB gun. $2200??? oh hell no I'm sort of a Colt fan with a 1911 and a couple ARs---but for me their revolvers have left something to be desired.

    S&W 629 deluxe 3" Barrel OAL 6.83", is that correct?

    Not sure on the numbers but mine is fairly easy to conceal with a Galco holster----even the weight becomes less noticeable even though you still notice it. Whats crazy is that my .44 weighs less than my 6in 686 Plus .357.

    Old GP100's or New GP100's

    I might be wrong, but I think the older ones had a solid trigger and the newer ones have the back of the trigger is somewhat hallowed out----should be easy to tell the difference.

    Revolver pocket carry

    I'll pocket carry a 642 or LCP Max when I don't have the Shield Plus or a Glock strapped up and occasionally a 629.
