    Any 5.56 or 223 ammo you buy/use will work great in the PSA 10.5" upper. You're making this a lot more difficult than necessary.

    Custom 6.5 grendel

    65grendel dot com forum has lots of load data and other grendel info. My 20" LBC 264 provides about 2475 fps with Scenar 123s.

    Before putting a bullet into the shell casing....

    I pretty much load only long range precision rounds these days and I weigh every cartridge after powder loading. Every powder load must be +- 0.04gr of the target weight.

    What is the last gun that you bought?

    S&W sw22 Victory 22lr target pistol. I've been wanting a 22lr target pistol for several years and the S&W Victory checks all the required boxes. That and I've finally been able to find 22lr in bulk at a reasonable price (5.7 cents/rd for Remington Golden bullets at Academy).

    Inexpensive Glass

    My best 'inexpensive' scope purchase was the Bushnell Elite 10X fixed scope. It was on sale at MidwayUsa for $200 and Bushnell had a $75 rebate on ALL Elite scopes. Net was $125. Great scope for $125. I have had 5 consecutive hits on the 6" plate at 1000 yds with it.

    Why Would A Florida Pistol Range Ask For My CCW?

    My local (private) gun club asks for CCW information when you apply to join. I don't have a problem with that.

    Question about the difference between 5.56 &.223 CASES

    If I'm loading 5.56/223 plinking rounds then I will mix brass and not worry about it, but if I'm loading 223 LRP rounds for my bolt action I use only Lapua brass.

    Asking for your learned advice

    I shoot a Precision Firearms LBC 264 upper with 20" barrel and Lapua Scenar 123s with Lapua brass. I found that the top accuracy node was around 2475 FPS with both CFE223 and IMR 8208 XBR. Going above 2500 FPS showed signs of 'hotness' with both powders.
