    There are no such thing as Greek enblocs. The Greeks used French, German, and USGI enblocs to load their ammo on.

    Even the commercial enblocs CMP sells can be problematic, stay away from new enblocs on EBay, many times they are cheap made china garbage. Use good old USGI enblocs

    CMP builds special grades out of the receivers they have. None for sale. Plenty of receivers available on Gunbroker

    There is a lot of false information floating around on the web. Bottom line the Garand was adopted eight months before there was a completed Johnson rifle.

    I own one and the are very interesting rifles. Garand is definatly easier to completely disassemble and assemble but IMO not near as interesting as the Johnson 1941

    Yes you should definatly check headspace. Rifles are supposed to be test fired and head space checked but some do slip between the cracks, more so lately. Buddy of mine had one that would not close on a go gauge, very dangerous. Also a good idea to atleast replace the op rod spring with one...
