+1 on the Daniel Defense Or Ambush Arms (Daniel Defense Hunting / Camo AR15's) I own 4 and two uppers from them. Most gun quality for the $. I have more expensive Wilson Combat, Knights Armament, LWRC at $1,000 over the D.D. but see no advantage over the D.D. & Ambush?

Fine points...I hunt in BIG Bear , country, Grizzly, even large Blacks, Mountain Lion, Wolves Moose...no way I'm stepping out without one in the pipe.

:D Just curious...not part of my OP, but how would the 6.8SPC figure in... could it chamber & fire in a .223 Wylde upper, which was what I was considering to go with my Wilson .458SOCOM, "on-order"...along with another, .300AAC upper? Does the 6.8SPC round fit into a standard 5.56 mag...I...

So i'm thinking, that if that is the case ( no pun intended)...then keeping mags separate, or not even bringing both a .300AAC & 5.56 or .223 Wylde to the range together may be a good policy...if not myself, someone else I shoot with could screw up?

Wilson tech, says adjustable gas block not needed, even to shoot subsonic un-suppressed? I thought that a adjustable gas block was a must...was told by couple of other top Rifle makers, that's so? Now i've read both...that the gas block must be adjustable to allow in enough gas to cycle the...
