A visit to a gun store in the Czech Republic.

The CSA VZ58 is an excellent rifle.

Walked into a Gun Shop Friday and saw this... AUG Clone MSAR

I’ve had a MSAR for years. Never a problem. It has an honest 5k + rounds through it, not a world record, and all brass cased. It has been taken care of so there is that. Back in the 80’s or 90’s a group of Irish Army troops came to the base to train with another group. They had AUGs so did a...

Mauser 1910 and 1914 pistols any good?

I have a 1914 in very good shape. I cannot recall it ever failing to fire and cycle, although it does cycle with more enthusiasm with hand loads or European ammo. I also have a HSc and a Beretta 81. I prefer the 1914 over the HSc . The Beretta is sweet but really does nothing the Mauser couldn’t.

    Savage 24v

I bought one of those around 1983 I believe. .357mag up top, 20 gauge downstairs. Still a good shooter.

    .32 Automatic Defensive Loads

Buffalo Bore makes/made a LFN loading that was excellent. I use Rim Rock hard cast 75gr. FP, same as BB, and Starline brass with a CCI 500 loaded to euro spec.

    Original Charter Arms Bulldog

I bought mine in late ‘77 or early ‘78. Bridgeport made in the 30xxxx a range. I learned how to reload because of this gun. I have noted in records it, and a pretty decent leather holster, set me back $129.95 OTD. If I’d had bought a couple of more I could have retired early.

    MSAR AUG

Got one. Bought it years ago before some folks started having problems. It has always run perfectly, no gripes. Very accurate. I am more spooked by the fixed optic than the rifle mechanicals, although it has been fine.

I'm Not Sure, But Maybe I Want An AK

The Czechpoint vz rifles are very nice ( and currently somewhat in stock at Atlantic ). Very accurate, reliable and build quality is excellent. I have 2 of them and other family members also own them. No troubles at all. A go-to rifle.
