I own two XDM's and shoot them much better than most other pistols i've owned or shot... I do shoot about the same with my M&P but I feel the stock trigger on the XDM's are alittle better and definetly seem smoother to me...
I think you will be happy with the XDM... Some people disagree but...
I have an M&Pc in 9mm and love it, but it sounds like your looking into other options as well.
I would suggest you check out the XDM's, have one in .40 and absolutly love it... I've put over 10,000rds through my full-sized and almost 2,000rds through my XDMc and have NOT had a single problem...
I voted for neither. I would suggest you look at the S&W m&p series. Both the pistols you named are great pistols. Out of those two I would have voted for Glock but you put in that neither part.
DISCLAIMER: I have not personally shot the CZ that you speak of but i have some experience with...

Was'nt trying to critisize your poll bro, just expressing my frustration on obtaining a true percentage to this question... Although i assume almost everyone is aware of this trend and takes everything with a grain of salt anyway...
With that said i'm still interested to see...
Thanks everyone for your input and help...
Thanks for your opinions and input on my next purchase, it was really appreciated...
Decided im going with the Nighthawk custom, cant wait to get to the range!!!
Great poll, i've often wondered the same thing... Only problem is the same people who badmouth guns they have no experience with are probably the same people who lie about it on polls just like these:(
I voted for the XDMc but I feel the M&Pc is an even better choice and one you might want to consider, unless of course you already have.
To be fair the XDMc is larger and heavier than some of the other guns you listed, which is'nt condusive to easy and convienent summer carry so if that is...
Fired both numerous times and I tend to like the Bodyguard myself.
-First it has big boy sights, which is one of its biggest advantages over the LCP IMO.
-Second, with alittle larger grip(more in circumfrence than length)over the LCP i find it easier to hold and more controllable when...
Are XDMs durable and reliable? I have two XDMs and between the two i have fired just over 12,000 rds of assorted ammo and have never had a single problem or malfunction of any kind. My full-sized model has seen alot of duty and abuse and is no worse for wear after about 10,000 rds through it...
I've decided to buy a 1911, first one. It will be used for home defense only and I have narrowed it down to two pistols. Wilson's "CQB Elite" or Nighthawks "Enforcer".
NEED HELP choosing between the two... :banghead:
GIVE ME YOUR OPINONS PLEASE, on which you'd choose? I know there...
My vote is for the M&P. At local gun shops around my house they start around $469, which is at the upper-end of your price range but I would say they are worth it.
Absolutly love this gun and I have several friends and two relatives who own one and love it as well.
You will rarely hear...
I've been told by two local gun shops that they should start shipping them by spring but i too would not be suprised if they dont start showing up till summer.
I have and carry a M&Pc 9mm everyday. Like you I live in a very hot climate and appreciate a smaller, lighter and more concealable pistol.
I absolutly love this pistol for alot of reasons.
-great ergonomics(this one could differ for you, as we all have different body types)...
I have both the XDM and M&P compacts, and I have to say I absolutley love both of them. You cant go wrong with either, or the Glock for that matter. It's a cliche but everyones right if theres anyway you could shoot all three side-by-side, or at very least hold and handle all three that would...
