as i cant contest to the other models you mentioned in your poll the only 1911 I've owned and carry daly is the taurus pt1911 (700Rd's) haven't had a hiccup yet

i was wanting to purchase a carbine for the house and plinking was wondering how accurate can i expect them to be? give some examples as to group size at x amount of yards. i will be getting a 9mm carbine thanks Paul
