    A little fitz works great. These below are steel cylinders but I did the same with my Nickel Model 19 and it worked just the same

    Nice job but the finger groove might be weird. Try finding a Pachmyer grip adapter and do the same. The Pachmyer one does not have the finger recesses.

    I had one for a while. It was very picky for ammo. Remington UMC FMJ worked flawlessly in it. Very well constructed but it had more bark than bite.

    SW 686p. 2 1/2" or 3"

    I'm not saying that you can't do it, but a 686+ is a pretty hefty piece to be hump around all day especially if it's CC. OC on a OWB isn't that bad but it's going to be tough.

    The 590A1 will not have the heat shield and it will have a heavier barrel. As noted above, it will be stamped 590A1 on the side. Ghost ring sights, Bayo lug with stud attachments are standard.

    590A1 yes. Hard to find and prices are way up there. Plain Jane 590 - no way.

    Tyler T-grip: what's the difference between #3 and #3R?

    I believe the angle of the front grip is slightly different between the square and the round and also one is 1/8" or more longer.
