I think the Ruger may be my ticket. I have a 1911 and enjoy the grip angle over that of something like a glock. I'll have to check the local gun shops. I'm not pleased at all with their prices when I've gone before. I know one guy who does $20 transfers which may be in my best interest.
I've found that the generally pawn shops are less safe than dedicated gun stores. I was in a pawn shop in Milton, FL and the guy swept me right after he retrieved it from under the counter.
What are some good options out there? Preferably something cheap, and single action. Not looking to carry or use it an any SD capacity whatsoever. I'd just like something to practice/plink with.
