Help me with this gun control argument

isen't that exactly the problem? no matter where you look at in the world, the Prison system can not keep up with the 'dangerous' people. conditional prison sentences or let out on Poarole way before the end of there sentence. currently the Prison system sucks and way to many people that are no...

    Sig P229 impression

flater trajectory. with full power .357SIG (125grains@1450ft/sec) you can reach out to ~75 meters and your trajectory will never be above or below 1inch of the target. with the other common calibers you can only do that out to 40-50 meters.

    What "if"

depends on what country, the USA, some south American countrys, the few Eu countrys, the middle east and some Asian countrys that allready allowed there citizens to own guns and the few that even allow the carry of handguns would probably not see mutch of a change. as it was allready said, the...

    9x25 dillon penetration questions

i am no expert in armor penetration, but both, .357SIG and .357magnum can drive 90-125gr bullets in the 1500-1750 fps range, full power factory loads or proper handloads provided. both rounds are known to be good in the penetration department, but neither is known to be a kevlar penetrating round.

    Guns on ships

none of the jobs and companys you mentioned is hired to kill, they are hired to protect lives, property or the intrests of there employer, this can include the use of deathly force if the situation requires it. i.e: a Ambush, a Pirate attack or possible hostile forces in a area your employer...

    Guns on ships

what do you think what kind of people will sign on for such a cruise? the ones that know what there skills are worth and would rather get paid to do the dirty work, or the ones that would just love to kill a other human beeing and are willing to pay 5k+ to do so without a jailterm attached to...

    Guns on ships

by the Police, by the Military, by a PMC, yes. but not by a bunch of backyard commandos and spaceshuttel doorgunners that where to lazy to join the armed forces and yet still wanted to kill someone. Blackwater/Xii recently bought a ship, they could do it and i would not oppose it, but having...

    Guns on ships

for them it is a simple nummber game. you have a large cargo ship, going price for them is around 10-20 million for the basic models, with freight worth anywhere from 20-200 millions on it. now you insure them, for a Cruise from China to Europe with a couple of stops along the line that should...

    Guns on ships

why? 2 reasons: 1. having firearms on board of a ship opens a can of worms from a legal point of view. most countrys dont allow the 'import' of firearms without a lot of forulars and papers and some outright outlaw it. look at a route a ship makes with all the possible stops, sometimes 10...

Concerned over failing electronic locks or EMP disabling them? How bout extra keypad?

make a tin foil hat for it. no, i am not kidding, wrap it in a few layers of tinfoil and store it in direct contact with the ground, you just created a Faraday cage that will protect your keypad from any non-nuclear burst of EM energy and will still offer good protection from a HANE induced EMP.
