The shield is somewhere in between a Glock and an M&P. Like Styx said, an apex trigger makes a big difference. I don't have one, but a buddy of mine does and the reset is very "Glocky", which is to say, good.
Thanks, yeah when you get them both in your hand, the shield feels quite durable. The Glock feels somewhat like a toy. I'm not saying it won't last, but just in feel, the shield feels higher quality.

Yeah its a tough choice shield or 43. I think I lean to the shield, even though I prefer the Glock to the m&p in full size flavor. I thought about a stipple and undercut on the 43, my 26 has both and I love that mod!

Actually, I don't think it is other things rubbing on to the gun. I have experienced the same thing on my 26 and 19 that both have this finish.

Hmm not really sure about a regurgitation. I haven't really done any digging online on this gun myself. I went into this review cold. Maybe my ideas echo the ideas of others.
