I carry a 23 - simply due to size. I bought my Brother a 23 he carries, so we would have commonality if problems arose. I am low 60’s, while he is 70. Either will serve your purpose, carry what you are most comfortable with… You might check your 23 - they are supposed to be 13 in the mag...
